Capt. Raynese Roberts is the Deputy Director for the Defense Health Network Atlantic as of July 2026.
A native of Akron, Ohio, Roberts received her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Fisk University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. After graduation from dental school, she received a direct commission into the U.S. Navy Dental Corps. Roberts received her certificate in periodontics from the Naval Postgraduate Dental School and a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology from George Washington University. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
Operational assignments include department head, USS Denver (LPD-9) where she served as the triage officer and a member of the Medical Training Team completing a Western Pacific deployment, department head and staff periodontist for the 21st Dental Co., 3rd Dental Battalion, Marine Corps Base Hawaii.
