Support

The Assistant Director for Support provides full-spectrum support to DHA, the Services, and Combatant Commands to ensure the timely delivery of all services and items necessary to equip, operate, maintain, and optimize health service support for successful mission performance across global military activities and operations. We implement policy, guidance, processes, and lifecycle oversight and management to ensure rapid modernization and delivery of medical products and services to optimize the health of the beneficiary population and medical readiness of the operating forces.

The Office of Operations, Plans, and Training supports DHA’s strategic functions as a Combat Support Agency. We offer comprehensive medical education and training to the Services, joint trauma expertise, the Armed Service Blood Program, and tools such as policy support, planning, requirements management, analysis, decision support, and leadership development.
