Health Care Administration
The office of Heath Care Administration oversees the healthcare system for 9.5 million TRICARE beneficiaries around the world. In this role, HCA determines the tools and technologies that will ensure consistent, reliable care to meet DHA’s mission of improving health and building readiness.
Defense Health Networks
Military hospitals and clinics are organized into one of nine Defense Health Networks enabling the Defense Health Agency to deliver high-quality health care for those we are privileged to serve. A Defense Health Network is a group of military medical and dental facilities that operates as a coordinated system and improves the delivery and continuity of your health services.
Resources & Personnel Integration
R&PI provides integrated human resources and financial management to the Defense Health Agency and its components to optimize resources for the Military Health System.
Support
The Assistant Director for Support provides full-spectrum support to DHA, the Services, and Combatant Commands to ensure the timely delivery of all services and items necessary to equip, operate, maintain, and optimize health service support for successful mission performance across global military activities and operations. We implement policy, guidance, processes, and lifecycle oversight and management to ensure rapid modernization and delivery of medical products and services to optimize the health of the beneficiary population and medical readiness of the operating forces.
Operations, Plans, Education and Training
The Office of Operations, Plans, Education and Training supports DHA’s strategic functions as a Combat Support Agency. We offer comprehensive medical education and training to the Services, joint trauma expertise, the Armed Service Blood Program, and tools such as policy support, planning, requirements management, analysis, decision support, and leadership development.
