Men’s screening process includes:
- Laboratory testing
- Follow-up clinical evaluations, as needed
Treatment begins with lifestyle changes that restore testosterone levels. This includes things like:
- Good nutrition
- Sleep
- Physical fitness
- Stress management
- Weight loss
Providers may prescribe hormone replacement therapies while treating underlying medical conditions.
Women’s screening process includes:
- Clinical evaluation to discuss symptoms
- Laboratory testing, if needed
Providers will evaluate their menstrual regularity, sleep, and recovery. If there’s an underlying issue, then blood panels may be ordered.
