Mr. Morrison grew up in South Florida where at the age of seventeen, he joined the Army. Following nearly three years in the Army, he attended college at the University of Central Florida and Florida International University, where he respectively received a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a Master’s in Health Services Administration.
In 1997, Morrison joined the Navy as a Medical Service Corps Officer and remained in the Navy for 24 years. Retiring in 2021 at the grade of captain, highlights of his career include attending Naval Postgraduate School for a Masters in Manpower Systems and Analysis, three tours serving as a Director for Administration, a deployment in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, and serving as the Executive Officer and Interim-Commanding Officer of Naval Medical Center San Diego.
Following his retirement, Morrison has worked as a healthcare administrator in both San Jose and San Diego, CA. Devin is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
