Mr. Brett Scheideman is the Acting Deputy Assistant Director for Acquisition and Sustainment and Acting Deputy Component Acquisition Executive, Defense Health Agency, Falls Church, Virginia. In addition, Scheideman is the Senior Category Manager for DHA and the Co-Lead of the Federal Medical Category.
Prior to coming to DHA, Scheideman was an acquisition program manager for the Department of the Air Force where he held jobs across the weapon systems acquisition community in acquisition program analysis, requirements approval, enterprise risk management, and implementation of Middle Tier of Acquisition authorities.
Most recently, Scheideman was charged with overseeing the Department of the Air Force Category Management program as well as the Headquarters Air Force Services Acquisition portfolio.
