Lapse in Federal Appropriations

The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status. Visit www.dha.mil/shutdown for more information.

The 2025 Defense Health Information Technology Symposium (DHITS) will be held Tuesday, August 26 – Thursday, August 28, 2025 at the Gaylord Opryland in Nashville, Tennessee. The 2025 DHITS website will go live soon.

This annual symposium provides insight into the workings of the Military Health System (MHS) while highlighting the information technology and information management programs and products used to support the largest healthcare organization in the world.

Please note that all Government Civilian and Military DHITS attendees must be submitted via the Enterprise Task Management System (ETMS2). The call for Attendee Nominations tasker will be sent out in the coming weeks. Approved attendees only will be notified with registration instructions once nominations have been consolidated.
