The Extremity Trauma and Amputation Center of Excellence holds monthly live webinar sessions that target clinicians who work with amputation or limb trauma care. The Limb Trauma Educational Series is an educational platform for information-sharing from experts to the multi-disciplinary team that treats patients with an extremity trauma. Monthly sessions are aimed to bring new material, case studies, and best practices into the clinical setting in order to provide exceptional care to the limb trauma and limb loss population. The LTES strives to improve outcomes by reducing variations in processes of care and sharing of best practices and expertise.

March's session topic, Preparing for Conflict: Rehabilitation Lessons from the 21st Century's Latest War, will be presented by Lt. Col. Sardar Bahadur, MD and Wg. Cdmr. Richard Sutherland, PT. In this insightful presentation, participants will explore critical strategies and lessons learned from modern conflict zones to effectively deliver rehabilitation services in war-affected populations. Drawing from real-world experiences, including the Ukrainian conflict, this session will provide actionable insights for developing infrastructure, addressing operational challenges, and applying clinical lessons to improve outcomes for both civilian and military populations.

This online event is held via Zoom for Government (ZoomGov.com), meeting ID: 161 826 3501. For audio only, call: 669-254-5252, access code: 1618263501#.  The event is open to everyone, so please feel free to share the information widely.
