DHA Graduate Medical Education
The DHA GME Program is the premiere platform for producing Medical Corps Officers who are expert clinicians, trained to the scope of practice required in the operational force, and acculturated in the Medical Corps. The DHA GME platform provides training to more than 3,000 U.S. military officers within 25 teaching hospitals that host our 216 training programs.
Defense Medical Readiness Training Institute
DMRTI is located at Joint Base San Antonio Fort Sam Houston, Texas and offers both resident and non-resident joint medical readiness training courses as well as professional medical programs. DMRTI offers 32 courses in the following focus areas: trauma care, burn care, joint medical operations, disaster preparedness, humanitarian assistance, and CBRNE preparation/response.
Joint Medical Executive Skills Institute
JMESI provides high-quality education and training programs, products, and services applicable to all leaders within military hospitals and clinics. JMESI enhances performance by providing the most up-to-date curriculum, increasing leaders' ability to make the right decisions and plan the best way ahead.
Medical Education and Training Campus
METC is the primary training location for Army, Navy and Air Force enlisted medical trainees. With an average daily student load of 5,500 students in 49 medical training programs, the campus also provides advanced level training. Located in Fort Sam Houston, Texas, METC's mission is to provide world class enlisted medical training to support mission readiness in peacetime and war.
