Human Pathology Consultation
To submit a request:
- Complete the JPC Human Pathology Consultation Request Form in its entirety (previous editions are obsolete).
- Attach a copy of the applicable submitting institution's pathology report(s) and the slides and/or blocks included with the case.
H&E and other microscopic slides are retained on permanent file.
We don't accept non-federal civilian consultation cases on human tissue. Please also note, we don't:
- Accept human cases involving cytology with no tissue;
- Have a chemical pathology service and is unable to offer consultation on stones of any kind; or
- Perform flow cytometry
