DHA will enhance Total Force medical readiness (deployability, employability, and fitness standards) by reducing lost warrior days outside standard healing timelines.
To achieve this, we will:
- Standardize profile durations.
- Decrease days above benchmark for non-deployable/non-employable conditions to zero.
- Drive active-duty access targets for acute, routine, and specialty care.
Key Milestones in Fiscal Year 2027

- The goal is to get them evaluated and treated quickly when they need care.
- DHA is working to make permanent change of station moves easier for patients who need ongoing care.
