The continuity of healthcare to our patients and support to military operations remain our top priorities during the government lapse in appropriations.
- We will continue to provide shared services such as medical logistics, information technology, and public health services to the Joint Force in support of global operations.
- Patients will be able to access TRICARE benefits and military hospitals and clinics during a lapse in appropriations.
For Our Beneficiaries
Our military hospitals and clinics will remain open during the government lapse in appropriations. Hours of operation and available services may be affected. We encourage you to contact your local military hospital or clinic with questions about hours of operation, scheduled appointments, or other services.
If you get care from civilian TRICARE network or non-network providers, you should feel little or no immediate effect.
- Contact your TRICARE regional contractor for help finding a provider.
- While payment of claims, pharmacy services, and other TRICARE services will continue, these services may be affected by a prolonged lapse in appropriations.
- We'll work closely with the Department officials and our contract partners to assess and reduce the potential effects of a lapse in appropriations on our patients.
